Quinta Dom José offers a dreamy atmosphere, nature and leisure.
 
The architecture is inserted in traces typical of a Portuguese house of year 1889 but the first registers have the date of ends of XVIII century (Portugal was governed for King D. Jose I), the house was inhabited by noblemen and was passing of generations in generations, until the current Macedo family.

 

  Quinta Dom José it´s an excellent rural tourism option for family vacations and peaceful weekends. It is a good starting-point for a tour around the Minho region, were you can find beautiful beaches, historical villages and cities like Braga(5km), Guimarães(30km), Porto(50km) and Ponte de Lima(15km) and don´t forget to visit the Natural park of Gerês(20km)! We accept companies who want to give formations, with activities outdoor, to their collaborators. We have a room for 20 people, 2 living-rooms and 1 room for games. Our services and facilities are exclusively for accommodation, we don`t rent our facilities for weddings or any other event that concentrates a huge number or people. Tranquillity is our concept!
